Welcome back to another episode of Small Ball with Kenny Beach. And I'm so excited to be here today as we ease closer and closer to the start of the NBA season. Some teams have already had Media Day. We're going to get to some of those today. And today's episode should be very interesting, y'all. I prep, right? I prepped this episode. I told you all that we were coming in. We're going to put together a fire video at a fire episode after fire episode at the fire episode.

You know, I got like a 15 minute commute between work or from home to work, right?

I hop into my car with this beautiful idea of one question for all 30 NBA teams. It's a concept we've done before.

And again, it's pretty cool to talk about all 30 teams when you get an opportunity to because, spoiler alert, once we get to the regular season, there's no way I can do episodes talking about all 30 NBA teams. So let's just get them out in the offseason. Get into the car. I'm a guy that doesn't really listen to a lot of music. I'm a podcast first guy. I've been really heavy on the fantasy football stuff. But this time around, I'm just like,

you know what? It's almost basketball season. Let's see what other basketball podcasts are doing

right now. And I refresh. And one that had just popped up. It couldn't even been up for more

than an hour. It's a little old show that you may know

named Teed up with Pierre and Driescent. And Pierre just yesterday and published today,

recording an episode of one burner question for all 30 NBA teams. Wow. What is the likelihood of

that? Like that's my cousin, you know what I'm saying? So we might be just linked like this. But what is the likelihood that in this, this offseason where so much to talk about, the seasons right around the corner that me and him will have the same idea on any given week. So we pivot. Because at end of the day, I want you to be able to listen to his show, listen to my show, listen to numbers on the board, and any other show that might be under the enjoyed basketball network and get different ideas, different opinions and different vibes from the show. So shout out to P. Please go listen to this episode. But we just shifted just a little bit, just a little bit. I had to throw an audible out of there. And I ain't really had that many backup plans. I ain't allowed to you. All right. Speaking of audibles, seem like you guys enjoyed when I was talking about my fantasy football journey. So let's talk about this week. I am, for reference, I am in two leagues. I am in one league with the homies. It's a league that we've had for about five years now. In his league, I've been to the finals twice in the five years. I have not won a championship just yet, and I felt really good going into this year's draft. I drafted a dog shit roster. I just, I don't know what it is when that clock gets going and you just panic in and I drafted some players. I'd never even thought about drafted going into that day. And I started off 0-1-2.

And then last week, I mentioned that I made a big trade. I traded Jemir Gibbs, who I really like, but he also plays for a division ride when I can't get myself to root for no damn, no damn lying. Trade him away for a first round rookie in Ascenti, who has yet to get past a line of scrimmage, it feels like.

But I also got JSN, who right now is, a first round rookie in Asson Gentie who has yet to get past a line of scrimmage, it feels like.

But I also got JSN, who right now is like RyR Receiver 4 or Ryder Receiver 5.

So in my mind, it was a good old package for a first round player.

I also happened to go against in week three, the guy that I made the trade with my boy, Michael

Mason.

So we made the joke.

Somebody's walking out of week three really upset because they made a big trade and they still

didn't get a win. And guess what? I didn't get a win. I didn't get a win. I was in the final

last year. Now, this is not a dynasty league. This is not a dynasty league. So you have to redraft every single year. I was in the final last year against Mason. And I started off this year, O and 3. But I am really optimistic, though. I don't know if an O and 3 team, O and 3 team could be as optimistic as I am. I got Bucky. I got JSTN. I got as my quarterback. I traded for

Justin Herbert. Unfortunately, I had to give away a skilled position player and Travis E.T.N. to make it

happen. But a deal is a deal. I needed a quarterback after Joe Borough went down. I still do have
