I'm not surprised at this one here, but let's start off right off the top here. The title, Fred

loses in man versus machine. What happened, Fred? So I go through this every Monday with Jeff Zimmerman,

with our NFBC teams, but he's very projections-based.

And so am I to, and so am I actually to a great degree.

But I don't know.

When we get into some things, some of the lineup setting, like as we've discussed, I do my own projections going into the season.

And as we get into lineup setting each week, I think I'm a lot more feel than he is.

So our one of these debates tends to rise like every week where, you know, he has projections

that have a player projected to be that he should be in our lineup for sure. And then I,

Mike, might the common sense side of me

says no and the guy this week was bailey over who pitched last night okay it's very well last night

now i originally liked bailey over um because the strike out to walk ratio was really good but then

the last couple starts it hasn't been very good so So he has a two-star week this week.

Jeff was adamant that we start him. I wanted to drop him. But then I did concede that like a

couple bad starts, like maybe we should keep him. But like, but I wasn't really at all interested

in starting them. So it was a man versus machine. It was my brain looking at it. It was his third start against the White Sox already in what now, seven starts. The first two starts against the White Sox were his two worst starts so far. He was getting them for a third time. I was like, I don't know if this guy's any good. The White Sox are probably on to it.
