John, it was a good game, but it was a sad night because one of my favorite filmmakers

was John Luke Dard passed away at the age of 91. He made movies like a band apart contempt.

If you watch French, a new wave cinema, he was really kind of like the godfather of French

new waves. He was really the godfather. You know, Quentin Tarantino's production company,

a band apart. He named after a band apart. He had a great life. He made a lot of really

interesting films. He was a film critic for Coyote, a cinema before that. But hey, if

you want to watch something cool, watch breathless, watch a band apart, the oldest profession,

watch contempt. It's about making movies and also joining us sitting back there. One

of the world's foremost experts on French new wave cinema. Of course, Ray Ores here joining

you guys in the live chat today. Ray, how are you doing? By the end of the week, I could

probably recite the first 15 minutes of Morbius. I tried it again that night, and I'm

going to be not French new wave cinema. I made it. I think five minutes more than what

my attempts on the weekend, but we'll get there. Maybe you shouldn't start from the beginning
