This is what? Oh, there's so much to get into you. Yeah. Because Malcolm in the middle is officially back. That's right. Yep. After 20 years, we got a four-episode reboot coming out and, yeah, thrilled. Wait, so, okay, crazy for it to be four episodes because back then a typical season was like 26 correct?

Yeah 24 yeah 22 24 yeah we would we did 151 episodes in seven seasons um but yeah it's only four

but that was always the intention you know what I mean um when we started talking about this we

didn't know what it would be but we started talking about 10 years ago of the possibility of kind of seeing where Malcolm and his family were. And Brian Cranston

kind of took the lead to get it over the finish line to try to kind of convince Lynn Wood Boomer

the creator and the executives to make it happen. And originally they were cool with kind of doing a Malcolm movie.

And so that's what I kind of, I want people to think of it as, right?

Sure, it's four episodes, but it's really one storyline for the four episodes.

You get to see everybody again and then it ends.

It's not, the intention wasn't like this is a test and you might get more.

As of right now, like, this is it.

Like, it's just the four episodes and we're out.

Is there a piece to building something and creating something with that clear intent and that clear period?

You know, it's just such a unique, I think, place to be in because normally when you pitch a show or you do a show, you hope people are going to watch it, right? You don't know if they're going to like it. You don't know if they're going to like the character. So to do something that you know millions of people all around the world love, it's just so different, right? Because like, we know people are going to watch it. Like, let's be, I mean, just based on what people have told me on Twitter.
