We met Victor Frankenstein, who was raised in Geneva with his adopted sister, Elizabeth.

When his mother died, he stayed at a university in Ingolstadt, where he brought to life an

eight-foot-tall human-like thing from mismatching corpse parts.

Unsurprisingly, he fled in terror from his creation, and by the time he returned home, it had

disappeared.

In his breakdown, childhood friend Henry Clerval had come to his aid.

However, two years later, Victor ran into more problems when he returned home, only

to find his youngest brother had been murdered.

That night, Victor walked through the very woods where his brother had died, and got

outside of his man-made creature.
