But this week, we're bringing you a little bonus episode because, I mean, how could I resist

covering another Frankenstein movie that has just dropped, directed by the one and only

Guillermo del Toro.

Now, obviously, for people who have listened to the man-made monster season so far, they've

heard me cover a whole bunch of different Frankenstein adaptations from the Universal

movies to the Hammer movies to the Kenneth Branagh version. And we've got loads of requests

from listeners and audience members to cover this new film. So I thought, why not? So this week,

we are simply going to be talking about Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, which is out on Netflix

right now. We will be talking

about this film in spoilerific detail from the start. So I sat down with friend of the pod, Chris

Newton, who is of course a huge fan of Frankenstein. He joined me earlier on in the series to

discuss the original Mary Shelley novel. It's his favorite novel of all
