One thing I know is that the last two steps that we actually took in this country, the Brady bill back in 1993, named after James

Brady who was wounded horribly in the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan, founded a group with his wife

Sarah Brady.

And a year later, we passed the assault weapons ban in 1994 signed into law by Bill Clinton.
