You guys have been really careful and this camp just making sure everybody's ramped up

the right way, making sure there's not a necessary danger to any of your players.

How does that apply to Justin on Saturday?

You have to be smart with the kinds of players that you call in there, given that it's

life-ful and so forth.

You're always mindful of that, certainly with your starting quarterback, you know.

And, you know, who's the line in front of him, you're always mindful of that and what

types of plays, you know, so we're always discussing that.

He's going to be in their play.

With Kenny being so young, because he didn't even need more reps or more work in the

preseason than a veteran quarterback with him.

Yes.

You don't know how much more he had already had to stall to be the first.

We'll play about here.

We'll give him what he needs.

It's always my mentality.

I'm open to all that a healthy plan, how much they play,

we'll be determined by what it is they need for him to be a productive step in the process for

him a week, and then we'll deal with next week, next week.

A couple of coaches talking about a couple of second-year quarterbacks, third-year for

Justin Fields, feels like second-year, second-year for Kenny Pickett, and we've seen some

greatness from both of them, at least flashes out of it, not an overabundance, more from Fields.
