We we are back from the Elk Woods and that's what we're talking about today. So

How was that?

Love I haven't I haven't seriously pursued Elk in a long time so it was

different and also

brought back a lot of memories from growing up hunting Elk and I just remembered

How fucking boring it is

Now it was it was good it the first season rifle. Yeah first season rifle so

I didn't quite know what to expect so I don't honestly don't think I've ever hunted first season rifle for Elk so

Now we were kind of hoping we'd hear we've hear some bugles

I know different parts of the state the Elk we're bugling

We're also hoping they would be feeding above timber line that didn't pan out either. Yeah, so opening opening morning there

They both came to for moral support and also to help try and spot and hopefully pack out Elk so we

We this is an area that you've hunted quite a bit and me not really been in there with you a few times for archery and stuff

but just to go along but

You kind of had a plan to see if we could

Locate him up high in in the past you in it fucking fail

Yeah in the past in the past you've had some good opportunities up high but and for whatever reason it was really windy up

up top it was cold and

We just had that snow a couple days before season started and we're thinking possibly

Possibly that maybe pushed him down or for whatever reason they just weren't up high but the the nice thing a good point that Dave brought up was
