I'm craving hamburgers.

You know, a great hamburger is a perfect on-ramp to the summer.

Just a few days ago, I was grilling about 100 hamburgers.

It was for an end-of-school year cookout.

And let me tell you, people liked it.

I remember this one kid coming up and asking if he could have seconds.

People were having seconds, by the way.

You know, you get the thing where parents come and inspect the situation. They're talking about the fire. I don't know.

Maybe we don't see fire in this capacity too frequently. But people were having a good time.

I think it was because of the hamburgers. Anyway, earlier that same day, somebody asked me

if they could get me a restaurant gift card for something work-related.

I probably gave a little too long-winded answer.

But ultimately, I ended up explaining why to me a really good cheeseburger might be the perfect food.

I love all kinds of food, like so many of us.

But there's something about a diner-style double cheeseburger

that just feels like joy on a plate. So when the children at an orphanage in Mexico said,
