There have been a few things that he said recently that folks are responding to, and is your leading papal commentary,

I thought I would weigh in.

So the first one goes like this.

For a little girl growing up Catholic today, will she ever have the opportunity to be a deacon and participate as a clergy member in the church?

No.

Oh, you hear that.

He says no.

And folks out there are celebrating that.

Pope Francis says, no, what could be the meaning of him saying no to this aside from him meaning no isn't this a done deal well you have to

He said, if it is deacons with holy orders, no. In other words, a non-sacramental deacon.

He goes on to tell Nora O'Donnell, CBS News, women have always had, I would say, the function of

deaconesses without being deacons, right?

Women are of great service as women, not as ministers, as ministers in this regard, within the

holy order. So this is not at within the Holy Order.
