Summary
Now-third-year Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin was said to be "torn" in his looming decision between Jaxson Dart and Luke Altmyer.
Ole Miss is just over a week away from kicking off against Troy.
But Kiffin's history tutoring quarterbacks suggests Ole Miss will be just fine (if not very good) in 2022, no matter which player Kiffin ultimately opts to go with.
Kiffin has been an FBS head coach for 10 combined seasons, including previous stops at USC and FAU. Over that span, his quarterbacks, per year, averaged 3,000 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
If Ole Miss gets that kind of production from Dart and/or Altmyer, the Rebels are very likely to exceed expectations, possibly even equaling or bettering their 10-3 finish last season.
