Hello, good everybody and welcome to the Mike Francesca podcast, part of the BetRivers network.

As we come to you on what is a freezing Monday night here in New York as we get ready for the national championship game, this evening. we'll also do a bunch of emails here, so we have a busy podcast for you here.

National championship game, just hours away.

Indiana, obviously a very solid favorite, despite the fact that Miami will be playing the game in their backyard.

Miami had traveled a lot recently.

They're home now.

They are a legitimate on the dog for a reason.

They deserve to be.

Not that Miami hasn't done some good things they have.

But Indiana has played on a level that is rarely seen. And what they've done in the last couple of games to Alabama and Oregon is impressive. And one game away. Now, usually, and especially this year, they've had trouble filling these buildings.

If you ask a fan base to go to the game three weeks in a row over, over, you know, five weeks,

three games, it's very expensive. They don't have the time to do it. There's a lot of reasons why it doesn't happen.

So there usually is a falling out, even for the championship game, where people just are tired,

especially for schools that haven't been there before.

You know, this is all new for Indiana, as we know.

We've been through that with Signetti, who has taken a very, very different place among coaches very quickly.

He has ascended to a level that is very, very rare with what he has accomplished here.

I know people are talking about him as far as an NFL candidate.

He's made it very clear he does not have any interest in the NFL.

He's being paid brilliantly at Indiana, but he thinks he's a college coach,

and he knows that he's a college coach.
