Hello again, everybody, and welcome to the Mike Francesa podcast, part of the Bet Rivers Network.

We come to you on this Friday morning as we say goodbye to May and hello to June and move into summer.

Memorial Day was, it's a long summer, as I said last last week because Memorial Day was as early as it could

possibly be and the weather was just dreadful and Labor Day is as late as can possibly be.

So it makes for a very long summer, which is, hey, anytime you get a little extra summer,

you take it. We'll get to some emails this morning. We haven't done that a lot.

I promise we will get to a bunch. I have a bunch. They sent me a good number of them.

I'll read through them in a couple minutes. Really right now we're on hold. We got baseball.

Yanks are playing the A's this weekend. And I know you wish the Yankees could play Kansas City forever.

But that wouldn't be any far.

I mean, Kansas City just is a joke.

I mean, when they're winning a game, they give it up.

The other games, they're non-competitive.

I mean, it's just awful how bad Kansas City is when they play the Yankees now.

And, you know, I go back to the 70s where they played some of the great playoff

series ever.

I mean, classic, classic series with great players.

I mean, the Royals had tough players.

George Brett, who was one of the great hitters of all time, you know, Amos Otis, Freddie Pateck, go down the line. I mean, they had so many guys,

Mayberry, you know, top pitching. I mean, it was such a great series it really was sad when you look at

the royals now um obviously the meds are trying to find themselves i don't know what the remedy is
