Good morning, everybody, and welcome to the Mike Francesa podcast for a football Friday,

Week 16. We have reached the final three weeks of the NFL season. It began last night with the Rams holding off

the Saints. So now the Rams, who everyone had just given up as this being a rebuilding year.

No one even knew before the season if the head coach was going to come back. There were so many

holes to fill. They had paid a heavy price for their winning. They knew that. They knew

it had a lot of work to do, but they have uncovered some terrific young players, as we all

have seen. And they have come on very strong. And now they're eight and seven, and they have a

very good chance. And I think when things shake out, they could even get in at nine and eight.

I don't even think they're going to need 10 and 7.

They have the Giants and the Niners left.

The nine is most likely.

They could have wrapped everything up as far as the one seed before the last game. It's possible. But more than likely they're going to need to win the game to put pressure on somebody else to win the game. I think that came. We'll know better after week 17. But the Rams now have a, about, I'd say about a 90% chance of making

the playoffs, considering the way they're playing and the way things are going to fall out.

I think you can pretty much count on the Rams and the Cowboys. And then who's going to be

that other team? Rams, Cowboys or Eagles, I should say, to be fair.
