A football Friday for week number four already.

Nothing flies like the NFL. Next thing you know, it'll be eight weeks in Halloween.

And before you know, it's Thanksgiving. It goes very, very fast. And it began last night with a

very tough night for giant fans and for the football Giants.

You want to call it hard for it, I'll buy it, but a disappointing, in so many different ways.

A disappointing 20 to 15 loss to the Cowboys had their chances, had their opportunities, close game throughout. At one point,

the Cowboys had an eight-point lead. That was it. But the Giants now fall to one and three.

They go to Seattle after they get a little rest. And then they have Cincinnati in prime time coming back off that.

So at one and three, staring into the abyss.

And it could be a very, very long football season for the Giants if things don't turn around very quickly.

And playing in Seattle won't be easy in 11 days.

It will not be an easy chore by any stretch of the imagination.
