podcast as we begin the NFL's second season.

The regular season is gone and a new playoff format. But before I get to the

playoff formats, a couple of things about the Jets, and then we'll get to the new look

wild card weekend. Before the Jets season even started, I told you that I thought the Jets had improved their personnel dramatically.

I was a huge source garden of a guy coming out of college, so his success did not surprise

me, although it was overwhelming in his first year.

He did even better than I thought he would do.

But I said from the start, if you remember,

it's going to come down to getting production

from the quarterback and the coaching staff.

They got neither.

And they have addressed it.

And the owner has addressed it.
