And I am here with the esteemed Bill Rill, who many of you know. And we're excited to talk about a really interesting topic that I think will be a little bit controversial.

But I hope to handle this conversation in a very

respectful and nuanced way. Before we get started, Bill, how are you doing?

I'm doing great, Teresa. And this will be a lot of fun, I think. I think this is an important

topic. And I think you're right. There is a lot of room here to misunderstand each other.

So hopefully, I think you've laid this out really well,

and hopefully the audience is open in a way that they can understand.

There's a fine line here that has to be walked,

and I think you do a great job of presenting it and explaining it

in a way that will do that for the audience.

So I've been thinking about this topic for a while now.

I've been noticing where this plays out in our culture.

I've paid attention to how this has played out in my own healing,

how it plays out in the healing of clients I work with.

And we happen to be in a really

interesting discussion with Rebecca Biblioteca last week, where we were talking about the support

groups that we're putting together for religious instruction. And there was a moment in that

conversation where you and I were sort of sharing our intention or how we want these groups to go.

And we were talking about how, you know,

this isn't going to be a place for people to come and just complain and vent their spleen
