The European Union just voted to increase the tariffs against Chinese electric vehicles, cars and trucks.

It had been 10%. It's being raised by an additional 38%. So we will

now have 48% tariff in Europe, European Union, against China's electric cars.

What that means, let be sure we're all on the same page, is that whatever the price of a Chinese

car is delivered to Europe, anyone in Europe buying it will have to pay that price plus 48% of it to the European Union.

Wow. You know what that does? It makes Chinese vehicles much more expensive than they would otherwise be.

And who does that help? Well, the producers of cars inside Europe, they don't have competition.
