0:00.0	Hello, this is Father David Nix on the Padre Peregrino podcast. Tonight, I'm very happy to be joined by my good friend, Father Isaac, Mary Relia. Father Isaac, thanks for joining us today.
0:10.1	You're welcome. So Father Isaac was born in 1959, and he just celebrated 26 years as a Franciscan priest. In between that time, he grew up in New York City.
0:23.7	It was quite a street fighter. He's going to tell us a little bit about his conversion because it

1:28.4	You know, sum it up quick, but I wanted to be a priest probably once since I've been five years old and I was going to go to minor seminary. And when I went there to look at it, I saw all these
1:34.9	little effeminate boys. We had names for them back then and still do. And I told my mother,
1:40.2	I'm not going to school with young men like that. And so that started my downfall, unfortunately.
1:47.5	And so I didn't practice my faith for 17 years.
1:51.4	And I had a holy mother who wore out on knees praying the rosary for me.
1:56.0	And so when I was 30 years old, I had a conversion.
1:59.8	I came back to the church and sum it up too.
2:04.1	A year later, I ended up in the seminary.
2:07.4	My mother dropped me off in the seminary, and that's the day she told me to that
2:11.2	she consecrated me to the Blessed Virgin in her womb when I was born, when she can see me.
