A checklist is basically the steps that you need to take in the order that you need to take them to most successfully and efficiently accomplish the tasks that you're trying to accomplish.

Make the best decision you can with the information you have. That's what allowed folks to be successful in the cockpit.

And then if that maybe wasn't the best decision, what'd you do? You'd come back in debrief and go,

hey, at this point, we made this decision, but we probably should have made that decision so next time we go out

same data points I'm making that decision instead of this decision. Go! Well if you've learned anything from the

risk-takers as Hollywood portrays but rather careful calculating professionals who
