Let's dive into everything

baseball related from Friday, September 6th. We'll start it off as always with the

transactions, injuries, news and notes, beginning with the bad news as starting pitcher Gavin

Stone was placed on the 15-day IL with right shoulder inflammation. He allowed five runs in his last

star and now we'll head to the I IL for at least the next two weeks.

Justin Rebleski was recalled for the miners in a corresponding move, and will replace Stone in the

rotation until one of the Dodgers' many injured starters returns.

Next, starting pitcher Kyle Harrison was placed on the 15-day IL with left shoulder inflammation.

The same can be said for Harrison, as was said for Stone.

He allowed 11 runs across his last two starts, and we'll spend at least two weeks on the

IL with the same diagnosis.

Harrison's rotational replacement is still undetermined, but the Giants have multiple

relievers with the ability to go multiple innings,

so they should be able to cover Harrison's absence until he returns.

And lastly, third baseman Alec Bome was placed on the 10-day I-L with a left-hand strain.

He sat for the last six days, and the Phillies finally decided to put him on the IL.
