Let's dive into everything baseball related from Friday, September 27th.

We'll start it off with the news as the injury placements and transactions at this time of year

are not too consequential in terms of fantasy.

It's a lot of starters being sent down to the miners

after making their final start of the season and relief pitchers being placed on the IL to make

room for other relief pitchers. So we'll start with the news as starting pitcher Reinaldo Lopez

is expected to be activated from the 15-day IL to start today against the Royals. He landed on the IL on 9-11 with right

shoulder inflammation, and Lopez worked up to four innings in his only rehab start, so he'll

be counted on to eat up innings in a must-win game for the Braves today. And our other bit of

news involves first baseman Freddie Freeman, who will not travel to Colorado with the Dodgers

this weekend.

Freeman rolled his ankle on Thursday and will do everything he can to stay off it, which includes

crutches and a cast until the playoffs begin.

So he'll be out for the rest of the regular season.

So unfortunately, for fantasy managers, they will be down likely their first or second round pick.

Now we can take a look at the notable performances from Friday a day in which we had a full

slate of 15 games.

We'll start it off with our hitters as Jonah Bride helped the Marlins to win in Toronto,

going two for four with two runs, two home runs, three RBIs and a walk for good measure.
