for Thursday's, a lot of day baseball on Thursday as we transition to the final weekend of

the baseball season.

So let's get going on the news and notes, and we'll go with what tour Twitter apart on

Wednesday, the Mets and the Braves postponement.

We saw this hurricane coming a long ways away.

There were options to play Monday's day off and a double hitter Tuesday.

Lots of scenarios in place, but to no avail, nothing took place.

Mets and Braves Wednesday and Thursday games postponed will be made up as a doublehead on Monday the day before the postseason begins if necessary.

Because the Diamondbacks did win on Wednesday evening.

If they somehow get out of it and the Braves and the Mets are the two wildcard teams, the two last wildcard teams, then they don't need to play so on and so forth.

But for now, the Mets, the Braves, doubleheader Monday before the playoffs start on Tuesday

for just the biggest gigantic cluster on the face of the planet.
