Let's dive into everything baseball related from Friday, September 20th.

We'll start it off as always with the transactions, injuries, news, and notes from around the league.

Starting off with the bad news, as closing pitcher Tyler Kinley was placed on the 15-day IL with right elbow inflammation,

he'll be forced to miss the remainder of the season,

and Victor Vodnick is likely to see the majority of saved chances for the Rockies in the season's final week.

And our other IEL placement involves outfielder Rob Reff Snyder, who was placed on the 10-day

IL with a right forearm strain. It's an unfortunate end to a career year for Ref Snyder, who has set

career best with his 11 homers and 1.2 F war. Second baseman von Grissom was recalled from the

minors in a corresponding move. He has struggled with injuries all year, but has batted 366, with four

homers and steals a piece in his last 21 games at AAA.

Grissom is expected to see time up the middle and at DH but won't be afforded an everyday

role for the time being.

In terms of transactions, outfielder Lourdes Gouriel Jr. was activated from the 10-day

IL.

He's been out since September 3rd with a left calf strain.

Guriel Jr. will reclaim everyday duties in left field,
