I'm here to recap Monday's news and notes from the diamond to get you ready for a full Tuesday of baseball.

So let's get going at the news and notes from Monday.

Francisco Lindor, he left Sunday's game with more back issues.

And on Monday, Lindor had his MRI.

The MRI came back clean.

That's good news. Problem is we don't know when Lendor will be back.

He's expected back in within three to five games. He said it can be two to three, three to five.

Who knows? He says when the back feels good, he'll play. The goal is to be back by the end of the season, according to Francisco Lendor. So you have to kind of wait and see over that. That's the rough way of saying day to day, but end of the week at best, it sounds like

Fort Francisco Lindor.

Stephen Kwan of the Cleveland Guardians was held out of the lineup once again on Monday.

That makes four straight games for Stephen Kwan as he's dealing with body fatigue.

Kwan is currently day to day, but with the Guardians having a four to five game lead

on the Royals right now, they're going to make sure Kwan is fully ready to go once he returns

to the team. C.J. Abrams of the Washington Nationals took swings on Monday, but was still out

of the lineup for the Nats. He's working his way back from a shoulder injury that he suffered on

Saturday. Colin Poshay of the Tampa Bay back from a shoulder injury that he suffered on Saturday.
