0:46.4	Starting with the bad news, as first baseman Vinny Pasquantino was placed on the 10-day
0:51.1	IL with a fractured right thumb.
0:53.6	Pasquantino fractured his thumb fielding a wild throw at first base on Thursday,
0:58.2	and the injury will take six to eight weeks to heal,
1:01.2	forcing Pasquantino to miss the remainder of the season.
1:05.0	Salvador Perez will shift to first base while Freddie Fermine
1:08.1	handles everyday catching duties in Kansas City moving forward.
1:11.9	In terms of transactions, outfielder Tommy Pham was designated for assignment by the Cardinals.
1:17.3	He batted just 206 with an 86 WRC plus since being acquired from the White Sox at the trade
1:22.6	deadline, and Fam will be replaced by Jordan Walker on the roster and in right field.
1:28.0	There will be no funny business with Walker's usage this time around,
