We're back for the final full week of baseball action before the MLB All-Star break.

So let's get you caught up on news and notes from Sunday.

Austin Martin and the Minnesota Twins was placed on the IL with a right oblique strain.

Since Martin returned to the twins on June 13th, he's hitting 351 with eight runs scored and two stolen bases.

No home runs, but getting it down on the bad and average department,

Martin was used in a utility role for the most part since he returned to the twins.

With Martin out, Matt Walner was recalled from AAA.

Some might remember Walner as a popular late draft pick and draft season for the power that he brings to the table.

And he showcased that power in AAA as Walner hit 259 with 19 home runs and five stolen bases over 67 games. We'll have to keep an eye on

Walner as he could be an ad going forward if he starts to hit the way he did to finish the

2023 season. Logan Allen of the Cleveland Guardians is demoted to AAA to clear a roster spot for

the newly acquired Spencer Howard, who will join the Guardians roster.

As a Giants fan, you can have Spencer Howard, Cleveland. Good luck.

Edward Cabrera of the Miami Marlins was reinstated from the 60-day IL on Sunday and made the start.

Cabrera threw three and two-thirds innings while allowing two-er-runs with four strikeouts. Matt Andres was DFA to make room on the 40-man roster for Edward Cabrero. Colton Brewer

of the Chicago Cubs was getting some random saves here and there, but now he's placed on the 60-day
