Hope everybody had a great weekend, wild times in the trade deadline streets.

I know Jake Crumple had you guys covered over the weekend with all those news and notes.

I'm here to recap Sunday for you, get you ready for another week of baseball action.

So let's get going here on the news and notes from Sunday.

We'll start with the trades.

Christopher Morel of the Chicago Cubs was traded to the Tampa Bay raise along with Hunter, Biggie, and Ty Johnson to relievers for the Cubs.

In return, the Cubs acquired Essoc Paredes.

This will be a fun one here.

Data shows that the new ballpark will not be ideal for Paredes and his pull power as it's 315 down the line in Tampa,

355 down the line in Wrigley Field.

So we'll see how that plays out.

E Sox should be the primary third baseman for the Cubs,

but obviously can play first base as well.

Christopher Marell should slide right into the D.H role in Tampa Bay

and should be quite okay doing as usual low batting average,

tons of power situation there.
