injuries, news, and notes from around the league. We'll start it off with the bad news as starting

pitcher Kodi Senga landed on the 15-day IL with a calf strain. His injury was a big topic on

yesterday's show and the worst case

scenario has occurred. Senga made his 2024 debut on Friday but was removed in the sixth inning

with a calf injury. It was unclear at that point if he'd have to go right back on the IL after

having just returned following an absence of more than three months. Well, not only is Senga landing on the

IL again, but he's expected to miss the remainder of the season because the calf strain

is high grade. Well, RIP to Sanga's 2024 campaign and hopefully he's back to full

strength next year, Tyler McGill was recalled from the miners in a corresponding move to take
