Getting ready for a Thursday, a small slate,

a lot of day games on Thursday, getaway days. So that should be fun for us there. But let's get

caught up on the news and notes from Wednesday. And a big one dropped early on Wednesday.

Christian Yellich of the Milwaukee Brewers is placed down the aisle with lower back inflammation.

Yelich has been bothered by back injuries for a few years now.

And based on the quotes from Yelich and the team, the injury seems quite serious.

He's going to go see a specialist and surgery could be on the table.

I'm waiting a few more days to find out the news on Christian Yelich before I make my decision

where there's a good chance he'll be dropped

this weekend in leagues without IL situations and even if you have ILs if they're full IELs

YELs yelich can be done for the season so I'll have to wait and see on that one. Gary Sanchez was

activated from the IL to take Yelch's place on the roster with Yelich out for some time. There will be more at bats opening up at D.H.

for Gary Sanchez, maybe Blake Perkins and some other options there in Milwaukee.

Brian Reynolds of the Pittsburgh Pirates was scratched from Wednesday's game with back spasms.

After being outvaluated by the team, he is apparently just day to day, nothing too serious.

And Reynolds will travel with the team on their upcoming road trip.
