Hello again and welcome to another edition of the first pitch podcast on pitcher list.

My name is Trevor Ruth. I'm here with you today. We've had plenty of baseball going on. Let's jump right in to the news.

While attempting to steal third base, Julio Rodriguez took a hardline drive off the bat of Randy Rosa Rana off of his leg.

He had to be helped off the field by the Mariners coaching staff.

So as of right now, there's no update that I've seen.

It appears he could be headed to the injured list.

The Diamondbacks have placed Christian Mena on the IL.

They transfer Corbin Burns to the 60-day I.L.

Of course, Burns just receiving Tommy John surgery, so he'll be out for the rest of the year.

Mena is one of their better pitching prospects.

Sad to see him on the IL, but they call up Ketcher Aramis Garcia with the roster spot.

Pirates are putting catcher slash utility man, Andy Rodriguez on the 10-day I-O with right

elbow inflammation.

They designate Joey Wentz for assignment to select catcher Brett Sullivan, and they also

called up right-handed pitcher Isaac Melton.

The cycle for Casey Lawrence continues as he's been DFAed once again by the Mariners.

This time is so they could select Trent Thornton.

Casey Lawrence, according to MLB trade rumors, has been designated for assignment by the Mariners specifically six

times over the last eight weeks. That is a roller coaster if I've ever seen one. The Dodgers

getting some help with their pitching. They activate Michael Kopeck and Kirby Yates from the IL.

They DFA, the recently acquired Chris Stratton, and Tony Gonselin is heading to the
