0:40.5	Graham Ashcraft of the Cincinnati Reds was recalled from AAA to make the spot start,
0:44.7	likely fill in for Nicodolo for the time being.
0:47.7	Ashcraft has back-to-back good starts at AAA, but overall, it's been a rough season for Ashcraft.
0:51.5	And the Reds were not ready to bring him up just yet, but their hand was forced, and Ashcroft got lit up as expected by the Pirates in Great American Small Park.
1:00.6	Luke Rayleigh of the Seattle Mariners was scratched for Wednesday's game with a sore shoulder.
1:06.0	The Mariners had the day off on Thursday, and Rayley is expected back in the lineup on Friday.
1:10.7	Valenti Belazzo of the Miami Marlins was called up Wednesday to make his MLB debut
1:14.8	versus the Royals.
1:16.0	He made 11 appearances, 10 of them starts between AA and AAA this year.
1:20.1	Belazo had a 502 ERA with 57 strikeouts over 52 in his pitch from the miners.
1:25.5	So expectations might have been a bit low for the kid, but he pitched well.
1:29.6	First, the Royals throwing five shutout innings with two hits allowed and two strikeouts.
1:33.5	Didn't get a lot of whiffs, so I'll see where this goes.
1:35.9	He should likely get a couple more starts at the Marlins as their starting rotation is completely decimated.
