Let's dive into everything baseball related from Tuesday, May 20th.

We'll start it off as always with the transactions, injuries, news, and notes from around the league,

kicking things off of the bad news as relief pitcher Chris Martin was placed on the 15-day

IL with shoulder fatigue. No, not the lead singer from Coldplay. Yes, I do make that joke every

single time. But Chris Martin to the IL

with shoulder fatigue. He left both of his last two outings over the past week with elbow and

shoulder so shoulder soreness respectively. So Martin clearly needed some time to figure out

what's going on. Shoulder fatigue is what's going on how long he's going to be out at least a couple of weeks for now.

And it's terrible timing for Martin because Luke Jackson just looked like he was starting to lose his grasp of the closer role.

But for now, he'll hold on to it unless Robert Garcia can step up.

But in a corresponding move, Cole win was recalled from the

miners, but that's Chris Martin headed to the IL with shoulder fatigue. And our other IL placement

involves starting pitcher J.T. Ginn, who was placed on the 15-day IL with a quad strain. And he was

just on the IL for three weeks with elbow inflammation. And he returned for just one start before heading back

to the injured list.
