Hello, fantasy managers, and welcome to another edition of the first pitch podcast on pitcher list.

My name is Trevor Hooth. I appreciate you joining me, and I am back for the weekend.

Let's see what we can get into fantasy baseball-wise.

First, taking a look at the news.

Some things happening with the Mets, as expected with Jeff McNeil coming back, one of their

young infielder's had to be optioned.

There's only so much room.

That turns out to be the guy that I've been harping on, Brett Beatty.

It was between him and Luis San Heliccuna and Acuna's just been doing

better. There were, there were some very positive signs with Brett Beatty. However, he was only

hitting 204. A lot of that happened very recently too. He was kind of getting going a little bit,

but with McNeil back, they needed the spot.

You don't need all those people able to play second base.

Luis Anhelecuna hitting 283, adding some speed into the mix as well. So when it came down to it really wasn't that difficult of a choice,

or at least a choice that seems that difficult from the outside looking in.

But Brett Beatty has been optioned to AAA for now with the return of Jeff O'Neill,

or Jeff McNeil, rather.
