Hey, old cheaters. Welcome to the always cheating podcast. My name is Josh. I'm here with Brandon.

0:21.4

It's a rainy night in Brooklyn, Brandon. Join it. It's spooky, almost. spooky rain. But I'm here. How are you?

0:29.2

I'm great, Josh. Yeah, you're like Snoopy used to be writing on his typewriter on the top of his dog house. Like it was a cold and rainy night.

0:37.4

Um, ominous tones to start game week one.

0:39.5

I think feelings, uh, game week one is not totally in the books because we have, uh, spurs,

You know, they actually thought they were more likely to score in the second half than Southampton was.

1:47.1

Yeah, it was.

1:48.7

Yeah.

1:49.2

And so, like, the promoted teams have kind of gotten away with it a little bit this weekend in that Ipswich weren't made to look like mugs necessarily by Liverpool.

2:01.5

Though, you know, it's not a lot to write home about.

2:04.1

And then Southampton sort of by virtue of just the dark arts of that red card,

2:10.2

we're able to escape the drubbing that I think you correctly predict there.

2:14.6

So somehow the narrative coming out of the weekend is not, oh, boy, Southampton
