Um, ominous tones to start game week one.

I think feelings, uh, game week one is not totally in the books because we have, uh, spurs,

Lester, tomorrow.

Yeah, big important match, I think in many ways.

Very much so.

Because like to my point, feelings are kind of scattered in terms of how I think managers

are feeling about the first weekend of the Premier League season, FPL is good, some good,

some bad, and a lot of just sort of, like, expectations net.

Honestly, like, the big premium assets have all more or less come through.

And even ESOC, I think you can explain away pretty easily, right?

Like that match is a four nil Newcastle win if it isn't for that insane.

I mean, I suppose it was nil-nill, but it felt like, I felt like Newcastle were fully in control. They kind of were in control. I mean, I suppose Southampton had like 19, they had some absurd number of corners in that match. But in general, it felt like, you know, it was like it was a one-nill Newcastle match. You know, they actually thought they were more likely to score in the second half than Southampton was.

Yeah, it was.

Yeah.

And so, like, the promoted teams have kind of gotten away with it a little bit this weekend in that Ipswich weren't made to look like mugs necessarily by Liverpool.

Though, you know, it's not a lot to write home about.

And then Southampton sort of by virtue of just the dark arts of that red card,

we're able to escape the drubbing that I think you correctly predict there.

So somehow the narrative coming out of the weekend is not, oh, boy, Southampton

...
