Hey, Ljaders, welcome to the always cheating podcast. My name is Josh. I'm here with special guest, Dave, Wagner Lodell. Dave, how you doing? Welcome back, everyone. Hey, Josh. How's everything going? How was your holidays, New Year's? You're back in the swing of things? Yeah, I am thriving, as always. So that's, no, I'm feeling good. I just found out that the Pistons are the Pistons.

0:42.5

I'm just, you know, I'm sports crazy, as everybody knows.

0:45.4

No, I just found out that the Detroit Lions are playing the ramps in the playoffs, Dave.

0:50.1

So that's been very fun.

0:51.6

It was sort of, you know, I took the.

0:52.9

Congratulations.

0:53.7

Yeah, Matthew Stafford returns. I sort of took advantage of the F.A. Cup weekend to unplug a little bit, you know, after the, I know, I know some people really like the, and I like the FAC Cup. And I'm not an FAC Cup hater, but the third round is like still a little too. There's too many matches, right? It's spread across too many days. And also, we've just had, what, four game weeks compressed into about two weeks in terms of fantasy in the Premier League. So it's usually like a good kind of reset for me. And so I watch a lot of football today. So how about you? Are you doing well? American football. It was a good American football. No, this is, this pot will be a good re-entry, I think, for all of us. When you mentioned before that I might be on, you know, after the, between the, the, the F.A. Cup break, I was like, ooh, I hope there's stuff to talk about. But I think there is a lot we can chat about. And yeah, I did watch a bit of the Newcastle Sunderland match, a derby.

1:47.5

That was not good football.

1:51.1

It was pretty compelling, I guess, just because, you know,

1:54.6

Sunderland till I die, got that, you know, the back of my head.

1:57.9

But, yeah, Sunderland, we're never going to score in that game.

2:01.0

But I did miss the Arsenal game.

2:03.0

We're going to talk about that and get everyone updated.

2:06.2

So, yeah, I'm about reentering into this too.

2:09.0

All of these clubs that I have like a tiny kind of sentimental connection to, like, you know, there's a Rexam, of course, kind new, everybody's, like, beloved other club. Sunderland, because of Sunderland till I die. Wimbledon, I sort of like, because this American writer, John Green, is like a Wimbledon co-owner. Even Leeds a little bit, because there's this book called The Dam United that I read a few years ago about leads in the 70s. So we're actually kind of the braincloth. And so maybe even like Forrest a little bit because that's where you went afterwards. So, you know, it's all these little connections. You know, it's part of what makes it fun. The rich tapestry of English football, Dave. Absolutely. No, yeah, all the, I'm going the other way in Wrexham. Screw Wrexham.

3:08.0

Yeah. I know. They're going to get Ted lassoed, right? They're going to get too popular and everyone's going to turn on them. But they're still a league too. I mean, I feel like they've got a long way to climb before we can properly hate them. So we do have a lot of news.

3:14.3

Obviously, you know, the big news is that Game Week 21 is now heading our way.

3:20.1

It's heading our way earlier than we expected because they have just rescheduled the Luton-Burdily match.

3:21.3

This is a match that was supposed to be played on Monday. So like,, I guess, like a week from when you'll be hearing this pod, it's not going to be played on this Friday. So it's, you know, kind of nice, I guess. You know, I was like a Friday afternoon game, especially one like this. I mean, this is a pretty pure, pure watch, Dave, I'd say, in terms of the always cheating peer watch rankings,

3:42.6

I'd say Luton hosting Burnley is like right up there, right up there at the top, especially

3:46.0

with Cabore gone.

3:48.2

If nothing else, the always cheating PSA on the deadline date is like worth tuning in just for
