All right, Jason. It looks like, you know, Aileen Cannon, not exactly sure what's going on here,

but I think August 14th, she set a preliminary date for the trial. Now, you were the trial lawyer,

and I know this is a criminal case, which is not your expertise. Does this mean anything or is

this thing going to be pushed back? I mean, it can easily be pushed back, but once you have

the date of like when it is supposed to start, everything gets measured against that, right? So

like you can do a continuance. You can do all that, but it is all continuing from that date.

And I don't know, man. I mean, Trump makes everything so focused on these politics. Like,

I think it's hard to tell whether or not, I mean, in a typical criminal case like this,

you would think that the criminal defendant would probably not be in a hurry. They'd want to make

sure that they get out, particularly like when they're not in jail, right? They'd want every

opportunity to prepare their defense. But with Trump, like his defense is so often in the court

of public opinion, rather than the court of law, and he's, he just, they may be thinking or he may be

thinking, well, my date that I care about is November of 2024. So let's get this, whatever it's

going to be behind us, especially knowing that if it gets convicted, it's going to be strung out

in appeals for a long time anyway. Right? Well, I think it could actually start then.
