I'm Shannon Bream. As former President Trump faces yet another federal indictment, Republicans

vow to keep investigating the Biden family and accuse the Justice Department of a double standard.

This is election interference at its finest. The former president entering a not guilty plea

on four charges, accusing him of attempting to overturn the 2020 election in the run-up to January

6th. It was fueled by lies, lies by the defendant, targeted at obstructing a bedrock function

of the U.S. government. Trump says he's the target of Democrats trying to keep him from winning

back the presidency. Now we're getting a glimpse at part of his defense. This is unprecedented.

It affects not just Donald Trump. It affects every American who now realizes that the first

amendment is under assault. Trump attorney John Lorrow joins us live to detail his team's legal

strategy. Then Republicans released the closed-door transcript of Devon Archer's testimony

about his business dealings with the president's son Hunter and the lure of the Biden brand.

None of those conversations ever had to do with any business dealings or transactions.

They were purely what he called casual conversation. Everyone understands that that's the brand,

that's the access and it wasn't an illusion of access. We'll discuss the competing political
