The government now in a partial shutdown as Congress battles over funding in the wake of the protests and violence

in Minnesota.

The Republicans tried once more to push forward the full funding package through the Senate with zero ICE reforms.

This isn't about reform.

This isn't about the budget This isn't about the budget.

This is about the fact that the Karen Wing of the Democratic Party wants to defund ice.

Temperatures are hot on Capitol Hill, even as much of the country deals with a deep freeze.

House Speaker Mike Johnson joins us to talk about how he plans to get past roadblocks on the right and the left.

If we are going to fund the Department of Homeland Security, we only fund a department that is acting lawfully and morally.

Then we'll ask Chris Murphy, the top Democrat on the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security,

which ICE reforms Democrats will demand,

compromise move forward.
