Freedom is Muslim and from Turkey, and he's become an outspoken advocate for Uyghur Muslims

who are the victims of forced labor and a genocide in China.

Freedom told us how he became involved and how it's led to some tension between him and Laker Star

LeBron James, but also how his teammates and other players have reacted to some of what he said and how he said it.

We also got his thoughts on the Olympics as Beijing prepares to host the winter games in a few weeks.
