Summary

Energy prices have become a major burden for both consumers and the Biden administration. The soaring gas prices have even forced the President to recently urge OPEC to increase oil production. Several lawmakers, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, are encouraging the administration to tap into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and reverse some of their policies they say have exacerbate the problem. Earlier in the week, Republican Congressman John R. Curtis of Utah's 3rd Congressional District joined host Jessica Rosenthal to discuss the high energy prices Americans are facing and why he believes the Biden administration has been offering the wrong solutions. The Congressman also explained why Republicans must have a seat at the table during discussions surrounding climate issues. The original interview was too long and we couldn't include all of it in our segment. On The FOX News Rundown EXTRA, you will hear our entire conversation with Rep. Curtis and hear not just his take on America's energy concerns, but also his views on America's political divisions and his thoughts on 2022's midterms. Learn more about your ad choices.
