The coronavirus pandemic has raised a lot of questions about our country's relationship with China. But even before that, there were concerns over the nation's early handling of the virus and their transparency in regards to the scope of their outbreak. U.S. officials had already been investigating China and trying to hold them accountable for their bad behavior. US Assistant Attorney General for national security, John Demers leads the Department of Justice's task force that is responsible for combating questionable trade practices, cyber-attacks and other national security threats from China. Demers spoke to host Jessica Rosenthal on the Fox News Rundown earlier this week and detailed how the DOJ is working to protect our country's intellectual property, infrastructure and citizens. The conversation shed a lot of light on the tactics China is using to undermine our country and what kind of cases the U.S. government is pursuing against them. Demers also suggested the country has been targeting some of our health services since the coronavirus crisis has begun and potentially slowing our effort to combat Covid-19.
