Summary

Times are tough in America. The United States surpassed 150,000 recorded Covid-19 deaths this week, according to Johns Hopkins University. At the same time, many major American cities have seen weeks of unrest and spikes in violent crimes. In Washington, Congress is working on apparent solutions to these problems. But with our country as politically divided as it is, is there any hope they'll get anything done? Earlier this week, host Jessica Rosenthal spoke to both Florida Republican Senator Rick Scott and New Jersey Democratic Congressman Andy Kim (D-3) about the problems America is facing and what our lawmakers are doing to solve them.
