Welcome to this week's foul Friday Tip of the Week, brought to you by H.P. outdoors.

Here's your host, Josh Palm, and Dan with another foul Friday quick tip of the week

as we get going here into the season and we get into the middle to late parts of November and into December.

A lot of the cold weather is going to be kicking up that we look forward to all year long.

The thing to remember is though, cold weather can be very dangerous and it's something that you need to

consider before you head out into the field. You obviously need to look at the

temperatures that you're going to be dealing with, the wind conditions that you're

going to be

aware if you're dealing with and make sure that you're dressed appropriately for the elements. You know, you need a solid outer layer, a Gore-Tex layer, something like that,

with plenty of layering in between to give you that layer of warmth to trap air in between the layers

and keep you safe while you're out there in the field in those blistery days.

You can also make accommodations for your boat lines.

You can put heavy-lined tarps or things like that on the inside of your boat lines to help cut the wind in any way possible.

Make sure you got a thermus of coffee.

If you've got youth hunters with you,

make sure that you're paying particularly close attention to them

and ensure that they're not getting too cold

and that they're okay throughout the sit.

So taking a little bit of care before you head out and having this on your radar is really important

as we get into these colder temperatures.
