And today is our June Book Club episode and we're talking about Fourth Wing by Rebecca

Jaros. This book has gone so viral. I am so excited to hear what you think. I'm so excited

to hear what our listeners think. I did get a couple of DMs telling me that people were excited

because I was worried that people were like, this choice is just too far in left field.

No, I think people are very excited. Well, before I get into it, tell me you're high.

My high, other than being here with you and recording in person.

Oh, of course, which we haven't done this in, I don't know, like since September,

maybe it's been almost a year basically, but things have been crazy. But anyway, my high is that

Jake's parents came to visit us and our town ended up having, they called it a strawberry festival.

I wouldn't say festival was the vibe. It was more like just 10 people in a train depot eating

fresh strawberries and homemade waffles. Do you live in Star's Hollow? Are you in Gilmore

Girls? It was really cool. There are only a thousand people in the town that we live in.

And there's a really old train station that hasn't been operational for like

70 years. Anyway, they are trying to fix it up. So they host these little events in the summer.

And so they made us little waffles and put strawberries on. I learned some about the history

of the train station. This is so cute. It was really cute. And then I got there and she's like,

oh, I told her we moved into so-and-so's old house. And she was like, do you want to run for

town council? I was like, you don't even know my name. But yes, I do. Wait, are there town meetings?

There's got to be. They have to plan the strawberry and waffles festival. You need to

benefit the train depot. You need to go. I might do it. I need to go. They're having a

blueberry. I want to run for town festival in July. So you're welcome. But yeah, it was really fun.
