I like my crew and I know some of you do as well because I hear from you.

And I look at here's a guy that has his careers at an interesting journey and he started

as an actor. He's done a little of everything. But at the end of it all, he's a very talented

man. And I think that the most important thing he's doing is not entertaining us with great

stories and spinning great yarns in a Paul Harvey manner with his podcast. I think his

most important contribution when he's dead and gone will be how he honored hard work and

dirty work in this country that needs to be done. And how he honored the dignity of work and

how he how he has refocused the nation on the fact that hey, we got a lot of technical tasks

that need to be performed. And we're raising an entire nation of people only capable of folding

sweaters at Abercrombian Fitch. We need to fix this guys. But in honor of Independence Day,

Mike recites what may be the most important speech ever delivered by the man historians call

the forgotten founder. I wanted to read you something. Something that many of you have probably

heard before. Maybe not the whole thing. Something that I've been familiar with the speech for most

of my life, but didn't really take the time to read from start to finish until this week. And when

I did, I was kind of blown away by it. You know the author and you know the last seven words. Give me

liberty or give me death as sayings go as hashtags go. That would have been one of the best of all

time. Maybe, maybe the best. And I would go so far as to say this is one of the best speeches ever

written except that it wasn't. Patrick Henry did not write this speech. We don't know what the

exact text was. His remarks at St. John's Church in 1775 were cobbled together after the fact by

those in attendance who were quite understandably blown away by his performance. And that's what it

was. It was not merely a speech. It was a tour de force and acting performance if there

if there ever was one. There was a minister there who watched the proceedings and later described
