In a world of misinformation, lies, and deceit, isn't it wonderfully refreshing when you meet

someone who is all about the truth, who's willing to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Well, let me tell you, that's who Jesus Christ is. He is the truth. In March chapter number 12,

we discover an amazing interaction between a group of people who were filled with deceit and hypocrisy and one man,

the God man, the Lord Jesus, who was filled with truth.

The Bible says in Mark chapter 12, verse 13, and they send it to him certain of the Pharisees and of

the Herodians to catch him in his words.

Do you see the hypocrisy here?

Do you see the deceit and the lie beneath the surface?

Can you see these tricksters scheming to try to catch him in his words? And the Bible says in

verse 14, and when they were come, they say unto him, master, we know that thou art true and carest for no man,

for thou regardest not the person of men, but teach us the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to

give tribute to Caesar or not? Isn't it interesting how they begin with such flattery? People do

that, you know. They tell you what you want to

hear because they're leading you down a path. The Lord Jesus saw right through all of that. And yet,

even in their deceit, they spoke the truth. Indeed, Jesus Christ is true. Indeed, Jesus Christ did teach

the way of God in truth. So this one word that they connect

to him as really flattery was actually the greatest confession they could possibly give. He was the
