Continuing in our series through Colossians, Above All Earthly Powers, Pastor Ben Stuart shows us four unique ways that God is equipping his people to engage with the world. "And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." - Colossians 1:9-14

0:21.0	you may not know that it's been snowing.
0:24.0	We had several inches of snow this last week,
0:27.0	and so Monday was a snow day for my kids,
0:31.0	which was very exciting and you should have seen them.
0:34.0	We are native Texans,
0:36.0	and if you've never seen a Texan in the snow,
0:38.0	it's a lot like seeing a puppy in the snow,
0:41.0	a lot of excitement, and also a lot of ignorance.
0:44.0	They're just not familiar with the substance.
0:46.0	And so my children were ecstatic,
0:48.0	and went running out into the yard,
0:50.0	and what Donna and I picked up fairly quickly
0:53.0	was as their parents,
0:55.0	we need to equip them to engage the world.
0:59.0	And so all week long, we were telling them,
1:02.0	hey, you have to put shoes on.
