Years ago, I attended a conference for podcasters.

Yes, there are really conferences just for this.

And while it was a good experience, I realized through it that it wasn't so much a conference that I was seeking but actually better relationships

with people who were doing the kinds of things I had started to do. I began paying

attention to people in my network who were running similar

organizations and who were also hosting or starting podcasts and when the

conference came around again the following year, this time it was in Southern California.

And I saw on social media that a few of the people I'd been paying attention to were going to be attending the conference.

I actually hadn't planned to attend it again, but I immediately
